Congratulations to SMAILE, our People’s Choice Award winner! With a commanding 19.3% of the vote - particularly impressive given the steep competition - the audience showed how eager they are to dive into this game about key AI concepts.

Intended for young learners, this informal learning game guides players through eight mini-games, each covering a different AI technique. AI concepts include intelligent agents, supervised/unsupervised learning, and adversarial search. The gameplay centers on strategically building a city, unlocking new building types and games as the city grows. As levels progress, the player partners with AI to work towards their city’s sustainability.

The GEE! voters were excited by game’s polished visuals, timely topic, and engaging problem-solving games.
